Community Engagement Survey

Update: The survey is now closed.

Thank you for participating in the 2021 Community Engagement Survey!  We appreciate all the ideas, suggestions and comments.

The survey data is being reviewed and we will provide a report on the findings as soon as it's available.

The Horizon Community League (HCL) is conducting a community needs assessment to identify and prioritize what community members want built on HCL parkland located within the HCL boundaries, and what programming should be offered to league members.

The HCL boundaries cover all the communities located between 91st Street to 50th Street and between Ellerslie Road to 41st Avenue.

The two parks currently under consideration are Summerside Park, located at 1735 70th Street (near the Grand Boulevard traffic circle) and Walker Park, located at 460 Watt Boulevard (specifically the open space on the South West side of the park that hasn’t yet been developed near Corpus Christi School).

The HCL would like to know your thoughts on what you and your family would like to see developed in these two locations. This information will help the HCL work with the City of Edmonton to create the concept plan for the parks.

We would encourage you to answer this survey with everyone in your family.

Completing this survey will provide valuable information to move forward. We estimate that the survey will take you approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

All information will be kept confidential and will only be used for the development of the park plans and to guide program offerings.

We would like to thank you in advance for completing this survey.

If you have any questions or if you wish to receive a paper copy of the survey, please email: secretary@horizoncommunityleague.com
